Stihl 250 wont throttle down.

Once saw his reved it wont idle down from running wide open. Saw is very clean inside the casing and the throttle linkage looks like its functioning normally. Didnt have this issue last time i used the saw and i havent messed with the mixture dials. Thanks

If saw starts and idles normally....
Throttle rod from finger trigger binding. Throttle spring is weak or so gummed up - it doesn't snap the throttle plate back. Or finger trigger is so gunked up, it adds too much resistance to spring.
Pull air filter cover and watch what is happening. Spray lube on throttle plate spring.
