SS4225 dies after running for a bit

My neighbor has a time cutter SS4225 that stalls out after a few minutes. It will start back up but will die again. Replaced fuel pump and cleaned carburetor. Any suggestions?

The first step is to determine if it is a engine problem or a mower problem .
To do that I use a orange in line spark tester .
If it flashes till the engine actually stops then you have a fuel supply problem
If it stops flashing then the engine dies you have an electrical problem .
I use the orangs ones because you can see them in daylight .
