anybody know where i can find a recoil spring rewinder tool for 2cycle , i had one but i can;t find it.

Oregon , Stens, Rotary & Prime Line all do rewind tools in plastic.
Down here most mower shops carry them so I should imagine your friendly local mower shop should have one & if it is quiet might even run you through using it .
Ust remember they are a service tool used by techs to make money so they are priced accodingly.
If it is a one off most mower shops will fit the spring for little more than a thank you .
Just make sure you go to a repair shop & not a glass front multi franchise retail outlet.

The down-side of a spring rewinder may be that you can only use it 1 season out of the 4.

Summer, autumn and winter you're on your own.
