You can add grease zerks. My neighbor helped me do that for my spindles. He also showed me how to remove the bearings from the spindle. Before that I ignorantly/angrily bought an entire spindle. 7.00 vs hundreds.

I feel your pain. I won't buy another for several reasons

Mower must have been left outside by the dealer as I keep mine in my shop and do not use water to clean - only compressed air.

When cut, grass releases a lot of moisture.
