Snapper SZ2042 42" deck Spindle Replacement help

Hey guys, first time poster here.

I have a broken spindle assembly for the above model. The part no. Is 84005711, everywhere I call they say not available. Is there another part I could use, surely these parts must be somewhat interchangeable? or perhaps a generic/replacement part that would work ? My yard is getting out of control :-( I need back on the saddle soonest.

Are the major suppliers of aftermarket parts.
All of them have web catalogues where you can enter the Snapper number and see if they make a replacement.
If that does not work then search Snapper - Mandrel or Snapper Jack Shaft or Snapper Spindle
 
Carry the old spindle to a Husqvarna dealer. It is a 4 point Husqvarna mount spindle. Probably the 587819701 no greaseable Tall version or 587820301 greaseable Tall version.
