Hi All, installed this carb on my 6R6 B&S , no leaks, I set it according to specs for starting, it will fire and runs for a short bit, how should the throttle be set when I am trying to start it? and what else s I try?

On those old engines I always start them with throttle in the 3/4 position and the choke fully closed. When they start I wait about 5 seconds before slowly opening the choke. If you are talking about mixture screw initial settings, I set idle mixture at 3/4 turns out from lightly seated and high speed mixture 1 1/2 turns turn from lightly seated.
 
Hi, it runs! pretty well actually, only problem now is how the governor is supposed to be connected.
