Simplicity Courrier/25 HP B&S, ZT-turned mower off and won't start.

I finished mowing Sat and turned my mower off to blow the grass clippings off the deck. When I went to start it, nothing at all. I checked the PTO switch to ensure it was fully depressed, made sure the control bars were in the neutral position, and checked the battery charge, cables, and connections. Nothing. My safety switch is attached to the seat and depresses as it should.
Could it be a bad ignition switch or the seat safety switch?
 
Go to Simplicitymanufacturing web page & download the parts book and electrical manual
Then you will see that the seat switch is not the root cause of all electical evils in fact they very rarely ever fail .
If there is no power at all then either a battery cable has fallen off or fuse is blown
 
Check battery.
Check ground wires and starter connections.
Check seat safety switch.
Check safety switches related to electric parking brake/steering levers.
You’ve already checked that the PTO switch is off.

If it is a fuse, where would it be located? That was my first thought, but I could not find an inline fuse anywhere, and nothing was mentioned in my owner's manual.
 
disconnect and reconnect the cable connections. double check the switch connections. you may have lost a good connection to one of the safety switches. battery post terminal loose?
