Sears Suburban Box Blade

Well I just finished leveling 2 yards of fill with the sears suburban, and scraped down the driveway. It wasn't as tough as I thought having no rippers and being mostly rocks I still don't know what I will make then from or making them adjustable. Any suggestions will be appreciated. It is 33" wide the side is 1' tall and 22" deep.

Also she ran efficiently using no more than 1/2 gallon

I spread another 2 yards over a 1.5' deep rut She held up great. No broken welds or bent frame still holding on strong. I still haven't installed rippers, and don't know if they would help.

Do rippers break up compacted rocks?:anyone:

The Wisconsin is still running like a champ and used under a half gallon for all this.:biggrin:

Nice scraper, I also like that super comfy seat. I don't know if anything you could add would bust up compacted rock without having a fair amount of weight to go with it.

Doesn't it feel great building a tool and then using that tool to do some work or accomplish a task?

Yep. I will say it feels better than buying one. And soon yellow paint to match the fenders.

Looks like it is doing a great job. it is nice to make something and then get a lot of use out of it.
