scag walk behind

My scag walk behind starts but when i try to put it in gear or start blades it stops

Issue is with the operator presence switch, or the associated wiring circuit.

Can you provide a model and serial number off of the manufacturers label? Scag makes a lot of different model walk behind mowers.

Typically, the hand clutch safety switch or park brake switch and wiring is where to start looking.
