Mower deck Scag TC SMTC 48 2007 mower desk quits serial FH580VB67228

While cutting after a while the mower deck will just stop
shut the motor down and then restart and the deck
starts up again.

Besides the seat switch what could cause this?

There are a couple of things that can stop the deck.
the most common are faulty seat switches and faulty recharging circuit.

Start with the easy one.

Battery voltage readings
key off
key on
engine running full speed
engine running full speed deck on.

Does the engine shut off? Or does the mower deck stop turning then you shut the engine off and restart?
