I have a 2013 Scag Cheetah, 27 horse Kohler Command Pro. I have it all stored away for the winter in my shed. I went in today and noticed a small puddle under the left hydro. I attached a picture to this post. Upon further inspection there seems to be a small leak coming from a seal in the pump.
Last year, when I fired it up after being stored for the winter, I was pleasantly surprised with a bad oil pan gasket, and a bad crank seal. I know that cold temps can cause contraction in the seals. I’m wondering if my hydro leak is a result of the cold. Any advice on how to proceed, should I get it fixed now or wait for it to warm up and see then if the seals are good? Thanks in advance
