Good news guys! I just finished mowing, tilting this mower at 45 degree angles and never once has it stalled out. Yes, it all went back to the carb. I opened up the bowl to adjust the float level only to find it had a plastic non adjustable float. Then I started thinking how could a new plastic float be so out of adjustment, unless the bowl was sitting too far down. That was it! The gasket was too thick, almost by 1/16" and didn't seat well in the bowl causing the bowl to set too far down from the float.. I installed another thinner gasket like I have been used to, made sure it fit well into the bowel trace and tightened it well.
After installing carb and priming, it started on 3rd pull. I tilted the deck to 45 degree angle and it never sputtered or stalled holding it in that position. Lesson learned. No mater if the part is new OEM or aftermarket it should never be overlooked as being defective.
Thanks for all your help! It really got me back on track.
