Right-Angle Gear Box Lube

My old Snapper has a right-angle gear box at the rear of the deck with no apparent way to lubricate it. Whereas the three sindles for the blades have grease fittings. Just wondering why no provision for a component that drives the whole shebang.

Does the gear box have a lid you can take off if so I would fill it to the top of the shaft with 75w 140 gear oil.

Hello C.,

Snapper has made thousands of models over the years, and it is difficult for my crystal ball to envision what you have.

A model number and a couple of pictures would help?

Gear box may have a fill/check plug on side of it. If so, remove plug and top off with 80W-90 oil until it comes out the plug.
