Removing shaft collar/blade adaptor (Model 7227)

I just give the adaptor a smack rotationally, once it starts moving, it drops right off. Pullers just bend the thing. As far as the stuck collar, just cut most of
the way through it with a cutoff wheel and just tap it off.
