REMOVING ELECTRIC CLUTCH

my Briggs and Stratton engine, on my craftsman XTS zero turn mower blew up, I've ordered a new one. But I'm in the process of removing the old one and I'm having a bear of a time removing the electric clutch. Any suggestions that don't involve a plasma cutter?
 
Once you remove the center bolt shock it with a piece of wood and a BFH. Don't strike it directly with the hammer if you are trying to save it to reinstall. It make take a while to convince it to finally come off but it will.

Make sure the anti-rotation bracket is out of the way so the clutch assembly can drop down.

Be alert to watch for any spacers on top of the clutch.
 
Thank you for the response! I've been "shocking" it until the cows come home with my air hammer to no avail. Is the anti-rotation bracket on top of the clutch?
 
The bracket attaches to the bottom side of the chassis near the clutch and sits in a slot on the upper side of the clutch.
 
Thank you for the quick reply, I appreciate it. However, there was no way it would come off on it's own. Ended up using my plasma cutter then it came off real easy. But now I need to replace my electric clutch
