Hey,

This is the coolest mower! It's a Speed Buggy edition and I'm rebuilding it but know nothing about it as far as manufacturer, etc. Anybody have any ideas where I can do some research and find out about it? It's definitely a vintage mower and cool collector item. It would be great to use as a promotional tool for a landscaping company! Any points in the right direction would be greatly appreciated! Check out the photo. It's not the actual mower I have but is the exact same thing. Don't have a photo of mine available yet but it might as well be it! Thanks and have a great day!

Boy that seat looks like it would be for the iron butt club.

That is SO funny.... You're right, the seat is probably going to be the only thing that gets 'modified' away from original. Can't wait to get pictures of this up after it gets finished! Have a great day!

Yes it is. I have a couple of minor patches to do on it around a couple of edges but otherwise it's in great shape! Thanks for the question and have a great night!

Ye! it is, and needs a bit of repair. Not much but some. Have been too busy to work on it lately but it's not forgotten! Sorry it took a while to reply... Have a great day.

You should be able to actually find a covered cushion that is made for that seat.

Did you ever find out anything more about who made them? I found this on Smokstak while poking around. Evidently JC Pennys marketed them, and according to member Dick DeBuse, who has always got good information, they were made by General Appliance and called Bonanzas.
