Tires RE 130 Has Terrible Front Bearings

I agree 100%, If there is 1/2 inch slop in the bearing something isn't right. If they were that way from new something is sure wrong. I few thousands maybe. If they are OEM bearings I sure would be checking out aftermarket bearings. Just take out one of the bearings and it should have a number on it. Take this bearing number to a auto parts and compare it to one of there bearing.

I went to the Snapper dealer today and showed him how much wobble was in the bearings. He brought some new ones out and they were very tight with no "slop." I think I just got some very low quality bearings. I am surprised that it got past Snapper QC.
 
Snapper of Georgia is no longer and the new improved Wisconsin Snapper's are not of the same quality I believe..
My neighbor gave his SR RER to his son and bought a new model..
It has a much higher center of gravity (bad for cutting slopes) and a thin sheet metal body...
The body on my Type 5 is just under 1/8" thick..
 
There is no more QC ( quality control ) so we may as well quit wasting our time typing those words.
