I cleaned out a building for a nice little old lady I know. When I asked her what she wanted to do with the mower I came upon she said she was just going to scrap it or throw it on a consignment sale. I offered to trade some of my labor for it and she was more than willing. I took it home and rebuilt the carburetor, changed the oil, cleaned the gas tank and put a battery in. After the 3rd try she popped right off. It had been sitting in there for years. The best part came when I pulled some old cardboard and out popped this weedcutter. I hooked it up and it runs like a top. Kinda scared the heck out of me, to be honest.

Up front slasher, quite a find.
There are a lot of hobby farmers who would give their eye teeth to get their hands on one of those.
Naturally they are banned.
So whatever you do never use it in a public space ( roadside mowing for example ) as it will toss debris a long way and your public liability insurance will wipe your cover.

I am probably going to sell it, anyway. I had fun putting it together and getting the Sovereign started, but no plans on keeping it. Thanks

That being the case, pop over to the equipment & build it yourself lists and let them know your plans.
You should have members beating a path to your door for it juding by the response to the home built slasher thread.
Lots of people looking for this type of gear that has not been available for a very long time.
