Would it be possible for LMF to have a "Quick Reply" box at the bottom of every thread ?

+1. I like this option in other forums, as well.

Is a "Quick reply" actually faster than a "reply to thread?"
And if it is, How much faster could it be?? :smile:KennyV

It's just a text box at the bottom of the page so you can type something in then hit "post" -- it basically saves you from going to the reply page.

Especially when your connection speed isn't all that - and it takes awhile to load a reply box separately......

Oh yes, it would save all this time, and then this old fart has to correct all his mistakes in spelling, punctuation, delete the cuss words, add the smileys, etc. Quick reply, my arse....

As Two-Stroke said It's just a text box at the bottom of the page so you can type something in then hit post, it basically saves you from going to or loading the reply page. The Quick reply box offers many of the same functions as the reply to thread box, Bold, Italic, Underline, Links, Photos and so no and it also has spell check. :confused2: If it is actually faster or not would depend on what type of message you're trying to post. Most all forums have the option of a Quick Reply Box, it's just a matter of activating it.
