Thought I would post a few pictures of a lawn I cleared and put in for one of my customers this year. My customer bought this place last fall and had a rock pile left over from installing the septic system with numerous lawn mower killer rocks all over the place. I moved the rock pile and most of the surface rocks before thinking to take pics. The ground sloped quickly away from the house, so we made a slight berm with all the rocks along the edge of the property and them smoothed and removed all the rocks we could. Then hauled in top soil, smoothed, planed and planted Rye and Fescue. This was a tough year for us with very limited use of water to grow grass. The water use cops were watching me closely.

Here's some pictures of the project.

Wow that is a big project and looks great. The funny thing is it looks like those pics could have been taken in the Okanagan region of British Columbia as well. Very similar looking terrain:thumbsup:

Derek, thanks for the nice comments, basically this is the top of a mountain with lots of rocky outcrops. Really wish I had pics before I started the project, it was really bad, no way I wanted my mowing equipment anywhere near that yard. Now within the confines of the property lines it is virtually rock free, smooth and easy to mow.
