Engine Pull cord to start and nothing

Have a huskee 6.25. 22 inch cut push mower. Pull on cord and nothing. Fresh gas and spark plug put in. Any suggestions would be mighty helpful. Thank you John

hey, might be the carb, it may not be getting any fuel, and on the side, be sure the safety switches are not being actavated
