pto wont engage pto motor

model 917272244 was mowing a few minutes and pto motor started shuting off then it quit and now wont start. knob pulls out bot wont start the blades up.

got it fixed . black plug down by the pto motor was bad .cut the plug off and put the wires back together and works fine

Good that you got the problem resolved.
But just for your future information ... it is a PTO 'clutch', actually an electromagnet clutch... any way now it's working so enjoy this wonderful sunny Kansas wkend weather we are having... :smile:KennyV

What black plug? where was it located?
