PTO Plug on Zero Turn Mower

While attaching a new drive belt, I had to pull the PTO plug out of its socket and while doing that the black wire had come out of the plug. I had pushed it back in but then it came off again during mowing. I used some glue after pushing it in there, but it didn't work. Any suggestions? I'm thinking if I get a soldering kit (never soldered before), I may melt the plastic as well.

Prime cadet to be a Space Cadet. I sure hoping you haven't tried gluing your tires and wheels on your automobile yet. How dumb can you get?

Anyway you need a Aptiv 08911979 connector housing, two Aptiv 12033824 terminals, and a pair of open barrel crimpers. Then while paying attention assemble the new connector assembly by noting which wire is where as this a polarized connector plug.

Or you could get a Stens XMC1001 kit but still a strong pair crimpers, a knife, and a lighter. Hopefully you which end of the knife is the business end.
