I tried engaging the pto on my xt2. It didn't want to go but I pushed it down. It didn't engage the blades. couldn't find any reason why so went to utube. What I found there is that if you force the pto lever, you will bend it. Which will require another lever. So at this point I ordered a new lever. Watched some how to install videos. Got the new lever and installed it. Now I tried to engage the pto/blades and it still only goes down about half way? So Is there something on the deck that is out of kelter? The cable is fine. without the deck cable connected. the lever moves the whole distance. What should I be looking for? Thank you.

You're goin to need to post the model , serial number etc for help first

Sounds like a seized PTO tension pulley arm.

We do need the product ID label information to better reference the machine.
