PTO Clutch question

Yours is the standard 1" keyed shaft
What you need to be aware off is the diameter of the pulley which changed the blade speed
And the strength of the clutch as higher blade loadings need a stronger clutch

Ok thank you. I’m just going to order a oem replacement for the lt1042 and put things back the way they were

Check under the mower that the PTO anchor plate is there so you can order the replacement if it is missing .

There is no mounting plate on the LT1042, just wire bracket that holds the clutch and is also the bent retainer. See image in post #6. Also note the spacer washer item 14.
