Pros and Cons on a F680 Mower.

It's about 25 years old. Alot depends on how well it has been maintained. Fluid changes are critical.

The guy didn’t know how many hours on it. We were thinking about getting it for our archery club, but decided to pass. He was wanting $2K for it.

If he is asking 2K for it, I think he is delusional unless this thing is in showroom condition. You may have dodged a bullet on this one.

There are no real pros on this mower. I just worked on one this summer with sticking valves and needed major work to get it running right again. Was not worth the money for customer.
It does have a good solid Kohler Command engine and separate hydro pumps and drive motors and is built solid. The problem is it has 6 wheels, really long and is outdated technology
Outdated zero turn that is long, not very maneuverable, difficult to work on, and has low market value in today’s world of zero turns. Around 25 years old. Run away from this one. Had a 61” F680 in my shop a month ago with sticking valves. This mower is a real dog!
