hello all very new to the forum and need help very badly i have a craftsman model number 917.273811
a little about it first it had a 18.5 briggs in it that has been changed to a 17.5 briggs clean engine with about 120 psi compression great running engine
ok the problem when i crank the lawn mower it runs fine then i put it in gear and it will cut out and make the engine run like a old johnny popper engine well i resolve that by lowering the throttle and re reving it ......ok next problem engine running fine when i pull up on the blade engage handle it will bog the engine down really bad and shut off and sometimes the same as when i put it in gear and let off the brake fast i have checked all of the safety switches and even changed them all out with another mower that i know works and still the same problem exist please help thanks in advance
