Lost power at 155 pm on Sunday while waiting for the Patriots to play the Denver Broncos. Bummer just got the power back on today at 346PM. Did Listen to the game on the little woman's flip phone FM radio I has just bought her. It was a great game if you were Patriots fan. Yeah hah. Just hope we can beat the SEA HAWKS. Sure has been cold here. Had snow freezing rain and snow to top it off. Lots of trees down and lots of broken limbs. Down to 9 degrees last night. Lows rest of the week from 11 to 24. We even had ice quakes. An ice quake, also known as a cryoseism or frost quake, is a seismic event caused by the sudden cracking of frozen soil or rock due to rapid temperature drops. This phenomenon occurs when water in the soil freezes, expands, and puts pressure on the surrounding ground, leading to cracks and loud noises. Ice quakes are typically harmless and often occur after heavy precipitation followed by a sharp temperature drop, making them a common winter occurrence in cold regions. We heard these all through the night not knowing what they were. We did have heat through it all since we have propane heat.
