I dont use the HF powder. I get cleaning solution from tinytach.com. Its water concentrate. Mixes 5 parts water and 1 part concentrate. I do 6 cups of water and around 2 cups of concentrate. If just do the 5 parts waters and 1 part concentrate then its not enough submerge the carb completely on the 4cycle carbs. Its enough for 2 cycle cube type carbs though.

many years ago I knew this old guy not far from here ..And he used to use old battery acid ..He would drain a few lawn tractor battery's into a steel pot tare the carb apart take out all rubbers etc out of them place the carb in there for an hour or so ..They wold come out looking like new.......To me it seemed like to much work but he swore by it ..It worked for him ...My ultra is working great now thanks Dave for info on the powder works mint :thumbsup:

Funny my father in law does this when he has a battery go bad he drains it into this giant cast steel pot in his shop and he cleans all sorts of metal stuff
