Please help. Stihl bg85 will not run

Hi everyone, I recently purchased a stihl bg85 blower, (non running)

I’ve changed the following,
Spark plug
Coil ( ensuring correct placement)
Carb
Fuel filter
Fuel lines
Air filter
Flywheel.
Pawl

It’s sparking and fuel is getting to the plug but it will not start. It has good compression and the piston dosnt look scored. I literally don’t know what else it could be. Any ideas welcome
 
pull the sparkplug out, then pull the engine over several times. Squirt a tiny amount of Berryman's B12 into the plug hole - like a psst and not a psssssssst. Put the plug back in and pull it over again. See if it fires.

Where did you get your replacement carb and which one is it, be very specific.
 
I’m thinking you may be flooding the unit. To start these units it’s best to close choke and pull rope until it pops, then move choke to half way and start unit.
This is what I would do.
1. Remove the muffler.
2. Check to see if the cylinder is wet.
3. Set the choke OFF, switch on.
4. Pull the rope hard a dozen times with throttle wide open, see if it will pop.
5. Close choke.
6. Try starting, if it pops move choke to half open.
7. Try starting again. If it starts it will be LOUD.
 
One question is the compression above 100 psi? if not you are wasting your time unless you install a new PNC.
