Planning for Spring

I have a rocky patch of land in the corner of my back yard, I am looking for grass that will grow anywhere because I do not want to have lots of topsoil trucked in, any suggestions?

How much sun does it get? Do you want actual grass or a ground cover? My dad used to plug in Zoysia where ever nothing else would grow. (He would burn it instead of mowing it to keep the thatch down.) If you want more of a ground cover, things like creeping sedum or crown vetch would fill in quickly, especially if it's sunny.

It gets good sun, I would rather a type of grass rather than a ground cover. I would like something that is easy to take care of, that doesn't require special attention.
