If he's talking about the rear axle, that may be easier to replace than to repair. I had one that was bad and I just swapped it out with a spare one. Look like a mulching deck too, if so it will definitely mulch easier than a hi-vac deck with that ninja blade.

Good news is it's electric. Bad news is the front wheels are fubar. Will take pics over weekend. Here's model:

Wheels are east to find. That electric start not so much. That's very cool. Even if u don't always use it it's neat to have.

Is there a store near u that specializes in just batteries? Out here there are a couple stores like that, they sell all kinda of batteries. I'd start by looking for a store like that. Or if not try searching online for batteries.

Well I see why PO didn't bother to wash grass off. LR tire is fubar. Wonder if that was due to problem with transaxle putting power to one side only?

Also nice crack in top plastic shield. Looks like this mower went through a lot!

Those batteries look like they will work. $18 sounds good. Not sure about the axle situation though, I've never tackled anything like that. So are u wanting to swap the electric start parts into your mower then?
