Parts source and manuals needed for an obscure MTD

Hi all,

I have a 90's era MTD sold under the brand Yard Machines, with a 38 inch deck and a 13 hp Tecumseh engine. The serial tag is clear and reads:

model # 137f450f522 with a manufacturers code of 3c10711-0026

MTD's serial lookup does not even recognize the serial format, and I desperately needs parts for the machine, but do not know which models would have compatible parts.
Any help would be tremendously appreciated.

Well that verified you posted the correct model number. One problem on its was made in Canada and I can't get any the links to work for me. It looks like Stanley Black & Decker has dropped the ball on this one.

All I can suggest is to call the turkeys at MTD CA support number.

I don't know if this will help, but I have a MTD lawn tractor with the same specs. A 38 in deck and 13hp(BandS). I think it was made in 2004?

It has a photo. Perhaps yours looks the same and you can compare the assembly drawings to what you have. Note that some of the part numbers have changed but I have had good luck entering the part numbers on Google/Amazon.
