Opinions on which engine is better. Craftsman I/C Briggs 20 hp twin or Craftsman Intek 18 OHV?

I have both engines in my mowers and only need to keep one. Which one should I keep? Both have been serviced regularly and work just fine. But I know that some motors are better than others, even by the same company. I just don't know enough about them. Thanks in advance.
 
Opposed twin means the cylinder heads are going to be ,well, opposite of each other

If you search for Intek issues you will be flooded with posts and problems. Personally if it says Intek, stay away from them. Any engine that breaks or bends pushrods every 40 hours is junk in my opinion, and to basically keep these running you have to use premium gas and premium oil, and adjust the valves frequently. Look around Intek engines are junk when new.

Bent pushrods come from walking valve guides usually from overheating the engine. Don't overheat the engine.
Premium gas not needed. Helps nothing.
Premium oil not needed. Any SJ rated 10w30 will work. If has zinc added that is a plus.
Adjust the valves every couple hundred hours.
