old snapper self propelled speed control lever

Have one of the old snapper push self propelled with the speed control lever down by the left rear tire. Trying ot find a picture to see how that control lever, spring, bracket all fit together.

Welcome to the forum.

The lever is easy to install.

• Angle lever perpendicular to handle, then rotate to engage lower U bracket.
• Push spring and washer away from handle bend, towards tang stop
• Put handle into U opening on speed plate
• Attach small arm to driven disc mechanism by rotating
• Put clip onto shift arm opening then poke small arm through holes
• Snap clip over small arm
