what?

I have a 2006 1046 (v twin) purchased recently

I got an oil change notification on the display. I'm ok to change oil, filter etc. How do I remove the displayed oil change notification?

Many thanks

WELCOME TO LMF!
I don't know exactly, but maybe this will help: Lt 1050 cub cadet change oil light stays on after changing oil.

Thanks for the welcome and thanks for the reply - that link describes it exactly. Going by the link it looks like there is not reset available.

Many thanks

You have it ... no reset, this is the most crude & not helpful "reminder" you could have...
A simple notation change oil every 50 hours, could have accomplished the same thing... but instead, I use what I consider an easier method... I use a good synthetic oil and change once a year, I aim for April... Works great and I reset whenever I get a new calendar... :smile:KennyV

Actually you can not remove the notification, it will do it on it's own. It may go out when you start the engine and probably come back on in a few minutes (mine did) but after a certain time, I think mine was something like two hours of actual run time it will shut off until the next reminder to change the oil.
