no spark old Maruyama string trimmer

have excellent old Maruyama string trimmer 2550 that cannot get spark. replaced plug, coil and have continuity, but no spark still. stumped. anyone have any wisdom or suggestions? TIA

Check kill wire. Most could use a rewire if old and abused.
