No automatic throttle on km111r

I recently had to retire my km 110 and upgraded to a km111 and am really missing being able to lock the throttle on.
Has anyone put a km110 handle on a km111 or is it possible.
I’m using a Velcro strap the moment , but that is annoying.

Throttle lock?

Are you referring to the ~1/2 throttle lock used for cold starts?
I've seen the lock switch integrated into the off switch. Middle will be normal running position, down will be 'off' and up will be the throttle lock.
If this is what you're talking about, then it's not very usable. First, it only locks at partial throttle. Second, it un-clicks when applying more throttle.
So, besides cold starts, the only thing it's good for would be low power trimming, but I don't see how that's very helpful.
 
Yes the cold start lock.
I know it’s not meant for using when hedge trimming, but ive been doing hedges every day for the last 12 years with the Km110 and being able to to have my hand down by the throttle is so handy. Especially up ladders. Other wise you have to move and go up and down your ladder.
Just wanted to know if I can swap the km110 handle onto the km111.
