Newbie here and looking for advice on new mower

Hello all. I am a new member and i have a 1.2 acre lot and looking for a new riding mower. Pushing it is getting old!!! So I have been looking and it does seem that JD has the best warranty but maybe I am wrong. So what other brands have a great warranty as well? My main concern is spending $1500 and something other than batteries, belts, blades and tires go wrong. Thanks

For $1500 you are not going to get much of a tractor, so warranty will not mean a whole lot. The John Deere tractors in that price range are built by MTD, which means you will basically get a unit sold by the big box stores. Any tractor sold for under $2000 is one that you will be lucky to not to have a major repair within 7 years, unless you are meticulous in you upkeep and maintenance. Even then your odds are only 50/50. Just my two cents worth.
