i've just found this site and joined,i am looking forward to talking to you guys about projects, i'm working on an old murry rider, trying to make a mini, mini yard dozer and dump (tractor) out of it, for small jobs like 4 bags of mulch, patio grading, bush pulling and such, fun stuff. i could buy equipment but thats not fun and i can't afford it anyway. any ideas or advise?

Hey wayne! WELCOME to LawnMowerForum!

I moved your thread to the Build-it Yourself Forum. You'll get a better response there.

Sounds like you're going to fit perfectly here...

Find a sleeve hitch for it. If you can't find one that is made for it, then see if you can find one that can be made to fit. Once you have that sleeve hitch, then you can get attachments like a grader or box blade, landscape rake, disk, plow, etc..... It works similarly to a three point hitch on a tractor.

I have an old Snapper garden tractor that I use as a mini dozer. I was lucky and found a MTD brand sleeve hitch at Lowe's that had been clearanced out at $50. A little fabrication for two upper mounts and I was in business. I have a tractor, but the Snapper with its smaller attachments can get into places the tractor won't.
