:welcome:

That's a great old mower. You're very lucky to get it at that price.

I think a handle from a later LB will probably fit.

Does it run?

Thanks!..I found a guy that had several old Mowers and I've been buying them all:cool:
I almost had it started yesterday but the Coil is a mess, had spark one minute, put the Flywheel one then had none.
Trying to figure it out now.

Finding handles is the tough part right now.

Well got it fired up today, the Coil wire had broken right off of the Coil due to the poor cond.
But,I cut and scraped the coil to the wire and taped the lead into place(real field repair!)
put the Coil back, poured a bit of Fuel in the through the Carb and 2 pulls later she fired up.
Sounds better than the one I use for trimming.

Your photo does not show a complete mower. You are missing the top fan shroud/gas tank/pull-start assembly, commonly known as a "brick-top" as it is rather rectangular like a brick.

That looks great -- thanks for posting the picture.

When you say "Starter Cup" do you mean the thing that you wrap the rope around? I think that may be a fairly generic part. That is, you could use a non-LB starter cup.

Do you have a handle?

That style of bricktop would have had a recoil starter that bolts to the "bricktop"

I found a Recoil for it,but now need the Starter cup that has the dogs in it.
I used a Clinton rope starter Cup to fire it up actually.
