Hi folks.
A few years ago i had my Hayter/Toro mower (Briggs quantum) fitted with a new carburettor with manual primer function (red button at front). It originally came with an auto choke carb but it kept playing up, and my mechanic suggested trying manual primer version. Its worked well since, but i am having problems recently and want to fit a new carburettor myself.
The problem is i have no way of knowing what carburettor he ordered, and my instruction booklet only gives part number for auto choke version. Can i refit an auto Choke carb and just bypass the manual primer or is it more complicated than that?
