Need suggestions

I have an open trailer and was wondering if anybody has any ideas from experience of how to lock up your 2nd mower? I have yards in some shady areas and I can't always keep an eye on my stuff. My goal is to get an enclosed trailer eventually, but for now I have what I have lol.

What type of mower are you trying to lock up? Which are we talking about, Push, Tractor, ZTR, walk behind?
 
Sorry I forgot to mention it's a walk behind mower. And exotion, ho exactly do you lock it up? That sounds like a good setup.

Run the cable throgh the frame of the trailer somewhere and then through the mower and padlock it to its self. Someone with bolt cutters can cut it but most thieves won't go through the trouble
 
I just can not see someone starting a walk behind backing it off the trailer and walking down the road with it.
