Need oponions on new mower!!!

Well here's the.dilemma I'm in now. Went today and bought the tractor style husky came home and mowed my yard. It did fine on most of it but when I got to the steepest part of the yard it really disappointed me. It practically spun all the way up the hill. When I got to the top it wouldn't turn because it was spinning so bad and the grass and ground was as dry as a bone. So I called my dealer and he said I could bring it back and get the m-zt52. So when I got it home I tried it out and and was 100% better didn't spin at all. All I.can.say is problem solved. And thanks for all the.input.

Hmmm......I'm surprised the tractor spun out but the zero-turn didn't! But I'm sure you will be happy with your new mower! :thumbsup:

My bad.....I noticed, when looking at those two Husqvarna's that the GT52XLS tractor was a little lighter(635lbs) versus the M-ZT52 ZTR(760lbs), but it had 23x10.5 12" rear wheels/tires versus the ZTR's 23x9.5 12". I just figured that in most cases a LT will do better on slopes than a ZTR.....but guess I'm wrong about that in this case. Anyway, it's good that you have a dealer that worked out getting you the machine that would do what you needed. Let us know how you like that M-ZT52 after using it for a while. It sure sounds like a very good mower for the price!!! And post some pics of it!!

P.S.
You "did" check the tire air pressure in the rear tires on that LT and try running them 1-3psi lower than the recommended pressure didn't you?? Sometimes just doing that will make a big difference on hills.

That was the same opinion I had after looking at the 52" Toro Z-Master 2000 Commercial ZTR last fall. The Toro Titan MX mowers aren't bad for a high-end Residential unit(with a 3yr/400hour warranty and lifetime frame warranty).

the z master are very good i like them....:thumbsup:
