Mower deck Need new mower deck

I have a 1999 Craftsman garden tractor with a 3 blade 46 inch deck. It's real good at collecting leaves, but it doesn't cut smooth and flat and it makes mush out of grass and clogs up everything. Does any other manufacturer make a deck that will fit my tractor? I would like to try a 2 bladed deck but the cost of a Craftsman deck is way too much. I plan on checking with my outdoor equiptment dealer/repair shop, but sometimes I have to point them in the right direction. My 15 year old mower has been a workhorse with very little problems and still going strong.

I had a craftsman 46" with 2 blade system.. Long blades that require very precise balancing to keep things smooth.. Also spindles did not last very long.

IMO, stick to the 3 blade for a replacement.. Just my opinion.
