Good Morning,
I am looking for advise in regard to the Spindle Pulley Brake. My Mower is a Cub Cadet Model #: 13WP91AT009 Built in 5/2011.
I thought that my Spindle was freezing up and ordered a new Spindle. When I put new Blades on I pull on the tension lever that the small
brake pad is attached to and the Spindle was free moving.
The mower deck has two blades and the Spindle pulleys each have a brake pad. The one on the left has about a one inch clearance. The one
one the right is tight against the Spindle Pulley. Can I adjust the bar that looks like it would pull on the lever attached to the brake lever? I need
advise in how to adjust the brake. The brake that I am talking about is worn out the other one looks new.
When I am mowing the blade with the stuck brake rotates and cuts but not as clean as the one that is free to move and I have to mow the area that
did not cut good on my next pass.
I am new to this forum and looked a few of the questions and answers, and was please to see that this forum has a lot of professional people answering
questions... Looking forward to being an active member of your site. Thank You in advance for any help.... Thank You!! Jack
