I have a Briggs & Stratton engine model 126492-0229-E1, code 010924FD, on a Lazer PB25.5BR tiller. My original carburetor has casting numbers 215434 / 6474 / 2561. It looks identical to carburetor 696065/697422, but PartsTree lists 696981 (replaced by 798653). Can anyone confirm whether 696065 is interchangeable with 696981/798653?

Briggs order base carbs and modify for a particular; otherwords, they just that and don't reference the correct carburetor for your purpose.
Now Briggs Power Portal (dealer site) does list 696981 superseded to 798653 as the correct carb for your model and type number.
B1 is just a prefix I use here from my days with Sunbelt.
