Another few items which can cause an engine to overheat that should be checked:

1) Ignition timing off.

2) Lean air/fuel mixture.

3) Sticking brake.

How did he know it was overheating?
Was it boiling over? Or did he have a red overheating light?

Maybe it wasn't even overheating... did the dealer say it was?

Have they ran the engine up to the overheating temp and took a temp reading of the coolant? Then if it is over heating still it sounds to me like it may have a small crack in the block. They can't find it when it cold but when the engine gets up to operating temp the crack opens up. It may even be a internal leak where it can't be seen. I have worked close to 25 years on car and truck engines and it is rare but have come across something like this. It looks like the only thing left is a new engine block.

OP stated that after 10 minutes of running the radiator begins to emit steam.

I'd really like to know if any of the suggestions posted here after the mechanic gave up have been performed.

Engine starts up and runs as new for 10 min before overheating still.I never let it boil over been shut down always when indicator starts to get to warm.

Is there another post that says....begins to emit steam?

Not the exact words but same meaning. On my computer it's his last post on page 1. "......... After 10 min. sencer lights up and radiator will steam if I don't shut it down."

I wanted to be sure that it actually was overheating
it seems then that the water pump is not circulating the water.
Hard to believe a repair shop couldn't work this out after several visits.

I would say run the engine up to operating temp and then give it a pressure test.
