MNA152702Pull fuel line at carb, check for free flow. post engine model #, this will help the experts help you.
Pulling the fuel hose off AT the carb inlet confirms two things, if you have a fat flow of gas.
1.Fuel tank cap vent is venting proper.
2.Fuel hoses, filter and a possible shutoff are flowing proper.
Might need a carb and fuel tank clean out.

Remove the air filter and housing. LOOK into the carb throat AKA venturi. Verify you see a small blob of gas jumping up vertically out of the bottom of the carb when you hit the primer bulb. If you don't see any gas, primer bulb needs some love. Sounds like yours is working a little. Most of the time people over torque the air filter housing and the primer stops working. Or they have a bad carb gasket there or both. If the hosing is over torqued, need a new one or try doubling up on the gasket, carb to air filter housing. This is all about the primer bulb.
