I have a wire that connects from the stator or alternator that is dual charging. the wire that I have that connects back to the chassis wiring harness has 3 wires one orange and yellow that connects to the engine wire connection. then there is a black wire that was not connected when I took it off. Just trying to figure out where the black wire goes.

If it has a single wire from the stator, it is not dual charging.
